City Dog Country Dog - City Dog Country Dog is a Portland-based dog training service that bridges the gap between urban living and a dog’s natural instincts. We provide real-world, relationship-based training that encourages calm, focused behavior at home, on city streets, and in rural settings. Our services include private coaching, off-leash reliability training, socialization, and board-and-train programs for dogs of all ages and backgrounds. We use a balanced methodology that promotes trust, communication, and consistency, helping dogs become respectful, confident, and easy to live with. Whether you need help with recall, leash manners, or behavior issues like reactivity or overexcitement, we develop personalized training strategies that fit your lifestyle. City Dog Country Dog specializes in helping high-energy dogs and working breeds find structure, purpose, and balance in their daily routines. Clients appreciate our honest feedback, real-time progress tracking, and focus on long-term success. We empower owners with the tools and mindset needed to lead their dogs effectively in both city and country environments.
