Seeking individuals to interview on political beliefs

I’m looking for individuals willing to participate in a long-form, one-on-one interview exploring their political views, beliefs, and how those beliefs formed over time. The interviews will be recorded virtually and published online.

People from all parts of the political spectrum are welcome — including moderate, left, right, libertarian, socialist, conservative, progressive, highly controversial views, or views that don’t neatly fit into any category.

The interview will last approximately 60 minutes and will be open-ended and conversational in nature. There will be no debating, challenging, or judging of your views. The purpose is not persuasion or argumentation but understanding.

Much of today’s political discussion comes from pundits, commentators, and media figures. This project is interested instead in how everyday people actually think — what they believe, how those beliefs developed, what experiences shaped them, and how they see the future.

Requirements:
• Must be based in Canada or the United States
• Comfortable being recorded and published online
• Open to reflective, in-depth conversation
