REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE CATERING PROPOSALS
Unimed Adult Day Care LLC, located in Miami Gardens, Florida, is seeking qualified catering companies and food service providers to submit competitive proposals for the preparation and delivery of meals for participants enrolled in its Adult Day Care Program.

The meal service will be provided through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to select a reliable and properly qualified food service provider capable of meeting the center's meal service needs and all applicable program requirements.

The selected provider will be expected to furnish breakfast, lunch, and snacks five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday.

The resulting agreement will be for a one-year period, subject to applicable USDA, CACFP, food safety, sanitation, licensing, and contractual requirements.

USDA PROGRAM AND EQUAL ACCESS POLICY
Meals provided through the program will be made available to eligible participants at no separate charge.

Program services and meal benefits will be provided without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, reprisal, political beliefs where applicable, marital status, familial or parental status, or sexual orientation, in accordance with applicable federal program requirements.

FREE AND REDUCED-PRICE MEAL ELIGIBILITY
Participants who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals must complete the applicable program application and provide the information required to establish eligibility.

Depending on applicable requirements, the application may request:

The names and number of individuals in the household.
Total household monthly income.
The last four digits of the Social Security Number of the head of household, primary wage earner, or adult completing the application, or an indication that the individual does not have a Social Security Number.
SNAP/Food Stamp, SSI, or Medicaid identification information, when applicable.
The signature of the adult participant or authorized adult completing the application.
All eligibility information must be handled and maintained in accordance with applicable USDA and CACFP requirements.

MEAL SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
Unimed Adult Day Care LLC is requesting competitive proposals from qualified food service management companies and registered catering providers that are properly authorized to provide meal services for Adult Day Care/CACFP programs.

The selected provider will be responsible for providing:

Breakfast.
Lunch.
Snacks.
Meal service five (5) days per week.
Delivery from Monday through Friday.
Proper preparation and handling of all meals.
Appropriate packaging and transportation.
Safe and timely delivery to the center.
Menus that meet applicable USDA/CACFP meal pattern requirements.
Required meal records and supporting documentation.
Compliance with applicable food safety and sanitation standards.
All meals must be prepared, packaged, transported, and delivered in a manner that complies with applicable food safety regulations and the requirements established for the Adult Day Care Food Program.

MENU AND NUTRITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The catering provider selected through this competitive bidding process must ensure that all proposed menus and meals comply with the applicable USDA/CACFP meal pattern.

Meals must contain the required components and serving sizes and meet applicable nutritional and program standards.

The bidder's package will be available beginning August 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

Each interested bidder is responsible for obtaining the complete package, reviewing the requirements, and submitting all requested documentation with its proposal.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All interested bidders must complete and return the required documentation as part of their proposal.

Each bid must:

Be submitted in triplicate.
Include original signatures.
Be placed inside a sealed envelope.
Be clearly identified as “INVITATION TO BID.”
Be received no later than 10:00 AM on September 2, 2026.
The sealed bid envelope must be addressed to:
